dreaming of a place you'd rather be

mum's a darl' and letting me chose the next location for a family getaway :)
currently trying to decide between the Whitsundays or the snow
although there is also the possibility of Tokyo or other tropical Asian paradises later in the year <3
seeing as its freaking freezing right now I'm heading towards the Whitsunday...
looking into house swapping with a family that live on the incredible unspoiled paradise
the island has like 10 inhabitants and in right in the great barrier reef
its looks so tranquil and peaceful and the most amazing mid-year escape from the stress and frustrations of year 12 !!!
please somewhere take me there now, so i can escape this dreadful winter cold...

kinda quiet and lonely but thats its charm i guess
everything is super small and cute
its like a freaking toy town !
like for real the doors are tiny hahah
anyways bit of a backstory now
it was wednesday again so i met up with ana lucia in gent and we headed off to bruges
niether of us had been yet which was cool!
totally fucking cold
and we discussed how depressing belgian weather is
its really a downer, sucks bro
we realised it had been exactly 2 months since our first wednesday adventure to another belgian town
which was cute ^^
its also meant we had both passed out 3 month mark of being in belgium
kinda glad the end is coming
but at the same time i am actually going to miss this place <3
while we were in bruges we checked out the cute little suveniour shops hahaha
and went to the chocolate mueseum
chilling with ana lucias ancestors the mayans
and obama, just causss.
oh and this adorbable park which i forgot the same of
with pretty white swans
they looked so magical in the dark ! :)
and the trees were super creepy looking it was pre cool
and thats about it really...
weekends creeping up quickly
thankgod as it means im off to amsterdam for a few days!
i well needed break i think! im still kind of sick
and im tired so i think a change in scenery will be fun :)

so trying to convince the family that ha long bay is the next stop on our south east asia vacation this summer !! :)
so if i get my way i wont having to be just dreaming of this place much longer ;)

I got tequila, Ciroc and two freaky friends and this a Wednesday night, this aint the weekend

the awkward moment when two posts in a row are lyrics from a wiz khalifa song... lol
today is a wednesday, the best day in the european school week
half day yo! :) so good
as it is my one month anniversary for my arrival in belgium it sorta freaked me out a bit about how quickly time is flying by and how much more i still want to see and do!
only 3 and a half months left... :/
so from this wednesday onwards i have vowed to myself i am going to spend it in a different city of belgium each week
which is also so i can see all my exchange friends who are in various parts of the country ^_^
and theres not enough weeks to see them all if i try and do it on weekends because im too busy!
life is goood
today i spent the afternoon / evening in Gent with my favourite mexican girly Ana Lucia <3
love that city, love that girl !
we spend the day walking around gent (with directions from ana's host sister ^_^) exploring cute little cake stores, gift shops and exhibitions,
here are some photos from the days events :)

catching the train from antwerp central station to gent sint pieters. one of the best thing about this country is how easy and cheap it is to travel within it. it only takes like an hour to get to gent from antwerp and with ma go pass its like 10 euro return, fyeah!

doing the tourist thing and buying gent noses, hahah. its these purple triangle jelly things that are like a special candy iconic of Gent. super sweet but pretty nice :)

quaint little cake shop which i cant remember the name of hahah opps. the picture is taken from the second floor where you sit and eat by like an indoors balcony thing. very very cute !

Speculoos cake, ymmmmmmm ;) speculoos is like a gingerbread biscuit thing that is incrediably popular here in belgium. they even have like speuloos pasts o___o i will tell you about that when i try it though..

anyways this cake was like amazing even though i felt quite ill by the end of it, so much sweeets here is belgium ! gonna get diabetes and die soon :/ haha

only in belgium...

cosmetics, presents for family ^_^, camera, tights and thighhighs, lingerie, black circle skirt?

its looking like its going to be cold and rainy in sydney while im there but my family told me to pack bathers in case as they live right on the water at bondi <3

actually cant wait for fashion week! exactly what i need right now a trip to distract me from life back here :)

so id better get finished packing as i leave at 12 tommorrow ! hahha
